Sorry to be so late on the Halloween posts but things have been kinda crazy and Collier has decided to go through a cranky phase, or she is still upset with ZRob and the Pokes performance from Saturday. Anyway here are some Halloween picks.

We realize it has been over 2 months since we updated the blog, so here goes the quick update: Collier is doing great, sleeping around 10 hours every night, loving rice cereal in the morning, enjoying peas at night and digging her new activity chair (so much so, she wears herself out sometimes and falls asleep). She also took her first boat ride in September on the canal in Bricktown (that is the above picture with Jennifer and Gracie Wildman). We hope everyone enjoys the photos!

Collier is doing great, and to our surprise decided to spend most of this weekend sleeping. We read somewhere that when they suddenly start eating more they are growing and gaining weight and when they suddenly need more sleep they are growing and gaining length, we may have a long, lean lady on our hands....not sure which side that would have come from! The Zoo

Collier made her first visit to the zoo this weekend with her cousin Skylar. She slept through most of it because she loves to nap in the heat. Fortunately Saturday was one of the nicer days this month because of a "cold front" that put us all the way down into the low 90s. It was a beautiful day and Skylar made sure we all saw the exhibit signs (which she seemed more interested in than the actual animals).

Sadly, we missed out on the elephants because they are in Tulsa while their habitat is renovated. We did get to see giraffes, a pigmy hippo, a rhino, all the "big" cats and a monkey who liked to stick his tongue out at us!

Okay, here are some more recent photos of Collier. She's finally moved up from premie and newborn clothes into 0-3 months, although only in brands that fall on the small side! I guess she's just going to be a little thing.

Grandma and her two favorite grandchildren. She will tell you she does not have a favorite, but this picture says it all! She sure is looking at Collier a lot harder than that other baby! 

This is from our trip to Ponca City a few weeks ago when Lauren and Blake where in town. As you can see she's a little cutie just like her father. Good thing she didn't get her mamma's looks. Katie sure got the better end of this marriage. hahahaha, Just kidding. She looks just like her mamma. We have some really cute pictures of Katie and Collier around the same age and they look exactly alike, and no Katie's baby pictures are not digital and we have not converted them yet! 

Ok, so I know it has been a long while since I updated my blog. I am sorry. But, for all the women who attacked me at the club last weekend, I will never be as good as Lauren. Yes, I said it. Lauren is actually better than me at one thing and one thing only, updating her child's blog. I can't wait until Collier can do this on her own! I am going post a few different posts so you can see how she has grown over the last few weeks. Enjoy! 

Oh, yeah: Mom isn't she the cutest grand baby ever. You don't have to answer that in a public forum, we know the truth!!!!

Sorry it has taken so long get an update on here but life kind of gets busy when you have a kid, and rest is a lot more precious to us now. Collier and Katie are doing well and we are getting into a routine that seems to fit for now. Collier is back at her birth weight and gaining more and more each day.  

Thanks to all the visitors that have stopped and taken the time to come see Collier. We love the opportunity to  have adult conversations (beverages too) and let some one else hold her a while. If you have not seen her yet or had the time to make it to OKC we will be going on tour over the next couple weeks. Get your tickets fast as it is a sell out show!

Katie and Collier after delivery. It was a a long and stressful night with a lot of ups and downs but some things are just worth it. 

So, even though I said I was not going to do this, I am going to try to set up blog to keep everyone up  to date on the new addition to our family.

Collier Elizabeth Brune was born April 11, 2009 at 11:09 pm. She weighed 5 lbs 14 oz and was 19 inches long. We are all home and doing well.
